His understanding of elite education is both deep and first-hand. Alex holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, a master’s degree in Private School Leadership from Columbia Teachers College, and an MA in Independent School Leadership from Columbia’s Klingenstein Center. He graduated summa cum laude with a degree in economics from the University of California and earned perfect scores on both the GRE and SAT.
He later became deputy headmaster of Akademeia High School, an international A-Levels school in Poland known for exceptional academic outcomes, where 79% of student grades were awarded at A*/A. Across Hong Kong, London, Dubai, Riyadh, Geneva, and Warsaw, Alex has spent nearly 20 years advising students and families at the highest level, helping more than 800 applicants secure places at institutions including Harvard, Yale, Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, Imperial, London Business School, HEC, INSEAD, and Bocconi.
His distinctive perspective and professionalism have also been recognized beyond education: he served as an official in the American Football League, bringing team management and organizational leadership skills into his educational practice.
Over the years, he has developed a holistic, 360-degree perspective on the admissions process, recognising that every application requires a bespoke strategy that highlights the most relevant qualities and strengths of each individual.
